STILL Haven't Touched My Wii O_o
Another busy week of my life gone! Work has become so damn tedious lately.....there's just so much to do!! I only hope they recognize that fact when they do a round of lay-offs this year, which we all fear is only a matter of time. Our projected net this year is 85+mil. So far the last 3 months we have lost over 2 mil of our projected income for those months. Not a good time here at the company, as we are certain we will feel a pinch. Regardless of all that, I do have a job for the time being, and it keeps me occupied so no overwhelming complaints from me.
As most of you know Amazon has started their very own trade-in system for used games. At first I was pretty skeptical, but after they offered an extra $20 for 4 trade-ins I took the leap. I went ahead and sent in Heavenly Sword, Eternal Sonata, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted for a grand total of $57.50 credit. That doesn't include the $20 on top of that, so I'm in really good shape to possibly get two new games......I'm thinking Bioshock and Killzone 2.
So far I'm very pleased with the system. You let them know what you want to trade-in, then print out the invoice and shipping label with no charges to you. Send in the games by the date requested which was 10 days for me, and then wait for them to examine the games and credit your account. They haven't received my games yet so shipping is a tad bit slow. One thing I really enjoyed was being able to see the game's trade-in value before even wasting your time to send them in......even if they are a bit low sometimes.
In the meantime I have been plugging away at Matt Hazard's maximum difficulty setting. There's been a few frustrating moments, but otherwise doin' pretty well. It's the last trophy I need to secure that game's platinum. Also I have been working on my Elite License in Burnout Paradise. I only have 50 more events to finish. It takes some time and effort to complete some of them though, because the game is a cheating son-of-a-BITCH!!!!! Rubberbanding mofos, and traffic popping up out of nowhere to trash my runs......GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Other than that the girls are sick, and my wife and I have been pretty bored with no kids around lately. Beer thirty anyone??
Glad to hear the Amazon thing is working out. They're so rad.
Take advantage of the boredness.
