The Drunken Monk's Sermon

What a week it's been!!! I normally would update my blog on Wednesday, but I was recovering from a wild night of Irish song, drink, and eats all consumed during St. Patty's Day evening. We don't have that much Irish music in the house, something I hope to fix in the future, so we had to resort to some old school hip-hop to carry us through. Most notably Snoop Dogg, which is just one of those "I grew up in So Cal during Snoop and Dre's Heyday, and is now a staple of my music library" things.

We were kid free which is an extreme rarity and decided to take full advantage of the fact. Even going as far as taking the following day off to recover. It was great to shed responsibilities for a short while, and something the wife and I need to do more often.

We got beer, whiskey, Bailey's Irish Cream and planned on partying until 6 in the morning!!! I think we were in bed by 11:30. Yeah, I don't feel old or nothing. LMAO I did sleep in until 11 the next morning and it felt GREAT!!! I miss those days dearly. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling all that great and it took me a few hours to get over the nauseating headache.

Once I was over the poisoning that my body received, I ate some more corned beef and watched a couple of movies in a house that was SILENT! It was so calm and silent yesterday that it was truly spooky. LOL I was enjoying my time with my wife so much that I didn't even play any games.....shocking, I know. O_o

Also, I've been working closely with a few of the Neo team to try and squeeze my way in on the review bench. I will indeed be writing reviews for Neo from time-to-time. Keep your eyes peeled on the first review to appear in the next week or so. I look forward to working with the Neo team as they are all a great bunch of minds with a great future ahead of them. I appreciate the opportunity that they have given me, and hope to prove that my brain isn't quite senile just yet. ;)
