Success!!
WOOT!!! I FINALLY got Burnout Paradise to work correctly online!! It took nearly two weeks, multiple account password changes, and opening ports on my router. The opening of ports was completely new to me, but I somehow managed to stumble through it. I even set my PS3 as a wireless connection and learned to assign it a new address......aren't I cool?! LOL
Unfortunately I will have to put the chair up for a few days while my daughters are hanging around.......well for the most part. My daughter Caelin loves sitting on my lap and driving, so I may let them do that ^.^
Man, seriously that is a relief!! I spent all night last night trying to open up ports and do all kinds of weird voodoo on my router. I still can't get better than a NAT 3 which is a bit disturbing, but whatever.....it will do for the time being. I don't really feel like buying a new router and modem. Right now I'm using an old Linksys combined modem/router and not really in the mood (nor have the finances) to upgrade.
Speaking of finances......I have none. LMFAO It's cool though, in this economy I just feel lucky to have a job and be able to feed my kids. It's getting pretty damn rough out there. Be thankful for all that you got, and try not to be concerned with all that you want. It will come to you eventually if you keep your head on track.
Back to burnout.....ONLINE!!!!! WOOT!!!
