DotHHC is more or less dead for the time being (I'm focusing on Ghostbreakers) and even after I take a break from Ghostbreakers to make some other comics I'm still uncertain whether or not to continue DotHHC since I'm sure I can do much better than it, plot and theme wise. Anyways, I'm going to post up the scripts for Episodes 2 and 3 which I wrote long ago and you guys let me know what you think and if I should continue DotHHC sometime.
For those of you who liked the first one and want me to continue the series without spoiling the next two episodes for yourself (these scripts are in full detail), then let me know.
If you think I should scrap DotHHC officially and do something else when I take a break from Ghostbreakers, let me know.
Just a note: if I do ever continue DotHHC, it'll only be a miniseries, not an ongoing one such as Ghostbreakers.
Now, scripts:
Spoiler: #2: A Bad Day to be Private Johnson
3 hours earlier...
"Private!" yells Captain Hunt.
...
"Private, wake up!"
"Huh?" groggily says Private Johnson, pulled from his sleep back into reality, sliding into a sitting position to see the Captain standing over him.
"Suit up, son. You're going to be shipping out with Sergeant Grant and his boys at 0800." replies Captain Hunt.
"Ugh..." says Pvt. Johnson, as he tiredly rubs his forehead.
"What's going on Captain? The phones have been going non-stop, our boys are shipping out every few seconds and both the Hospital and Fire Department are out of contact!" exclaims Private Johnson.
"I have no idea, son. All I know is the city needs our help, and that's what we signed on to do. Now get moving, Grant'll get you up to speed on what you boys'll be doing." explains Captain Hunt.
"Right." says Private Johnson.
1 hour later...
"All right, gentlemen, our task is to get downtown and find out exactly what we're facing. Bravo team was due for check-in at 0600. They're two hours overdue. We're heading to their last known position to see if they're okay. Weapons free, fire in short controlled bursts and watch out for civilians. Shoot to kill." briefs Sergeant Grant.
"Uh, sir, who exactly are we shooting at?" asks Private Johnson.
"Terrorists, foreigners, zombies, who knows? They point a gun at you, they're hostile. Now get your shit together and form up. We're moving out in just under an hour." replies Sergeant Grant.
Just under an hour later...
"Load up, we're heading out! Corporal Hudson, you got the wheel. Let's go!" Sergeant Grant yells.
The team climbs into the truck and sits, as the truck makes its way toward the downtown area.
"We'll be splitting up into two teams. I'll be leading the first team, taking Corporal Richards and Private Jenkins. Our callsign will be Sierra Tango 1. Corporal Hudson will be leading the second team. He will be taking Private Jenkins and Private Jackson. Your callsign will be Sierra Tango 2." briefs Sergeant Grant.
"Sir, what about me?" asks Private Johnson.
"You, Private, get to guard the truck." replies Sergeant Grant.
A headcrab sits on the road and sees the truck coming up. Seconds later, glass shattering can be heard. Corporal Hudson screams and blood splatters all over the glass, preventing the rest of the men from seeing what happened. The truck spins out of control and flips over.
Spoiler: #3 (UNNAMED)
"Is that everything?" whispers Buck, watching the roads for any signs of movement, shotgun at the ready.
"Yeah, I think so!" calls Hugo.
"Quiet! They'll hear us!" hissed Buck.
"Sorry!" called back Hugo.
"Shut up!" glared Buck.
"... Sorry." Hugo said once more.
Buck rolled his eyes.
"Alright. You drive, I'm gonna sit in the back, make sure nothing falls out." ordered Buck.
"If we're worried about noise, how will they not hear the engine of the cargo truck?" asked Hugo.
"Oh, they will. I'm just hoping we'll be able to outrun them." Buck replied as he headed towards the back of the truck.
"Great plan." Hugo said sarcastically to himself.
Buck climbed up onto the back, shotgun ready. "Let's go!" he yelled.
Hugo fired up the engine. A burst of noise filled the air.
"Well, shit." Hugo said aloud.
He floored it, as fast as the truck would go, skidding around the corner, nearly sending Buck flying out the back. Buck sat, one arm holding the shotgun and the other onto the side of the truck, watching the street. Hugo slowed and turned the next corner, exposing the back to a headcrab in mid-leap. Buck fired, hitting the headcrab directly, sending it back to the ground. The road dips a bit, revealing a crashed police truck (from Episode 2). Hugo swerves to avoid it, stopping the truck so they can check out the crash.
In Ep4, SISSIES (Specially Inserted Soldiers that Shoot only In Extreme Situations) will appear, whom have orders to shoot-to-kill everyone in the town, zombies, survivors and even the town's emergency units.
