Dragon Age - Mystery Package Presskit

A few moments ago Wolfwood comes into my office with a package. I wasn't expecting anything, how mysterious! I read who it was from and it didn't add up so I had to open it. I mean c'mon, if you received a mystery package you'd open it up....right?

The package was sealed with a wax stamp, well it was meant to look that way but it looks more like plastic. Very cool aesthetic feeling to it. The seal has a griffin on it.

Opening the package bits of what seemed like sawdust kept falling out..uh oh someone just sent me a package full of anthrax! oh well, I have to see what's inside. What I see still doesn't help me figure out just what the heck this is but I can confirm that it's not anthrax inside.

I open the note first

Dragon Age: Origins review posted

Alright people, our Dragon Age: Origins review has been posted. Just in time for launch too! So if you've been eyeing this game, feel free to check out our review. We're pretty generous to it, since it's a pretty awesome game.

If you know BioWare's style, then you already have a good idea of what Dragon Age is about. Of course the outside is all different, but at the very core, the gameplay remains similar in most respects. It's a bit harder than most mainstream games out there today though, so RPG newbs should be wary. I would recommend it, just don't go in expecting to breeze on through.

Neoseeker ponders, smiles at the sunshine, reviews Risen (+ future plans)

After far too many 3-6 hour play sessions, I've finally completed my review of Risen for the site:

If you don't know about it, it's a PC RPG (coming to Xbox 360 in a few months), and is a spiritual successor to the Gothic games, which are simply fantastic.

The more attentive of you will notice it's my second review, when I said the first (for The Path) would be my only one. This was due to me being a stubborn arse that refused to score games. I still hate scores but I figured to heck with it, I would quit being a jerk and take one for the team. ;)

I don't plan to ever think very hard about the scores, or even take them remotely seriously; the intelligent folks will know from reading the review whether or not it's something they want to play, I think. But you know, Metacritic yadda yadda. :P

As I mention in the review, I didn't get time to complete the game, unfortunately. I

WOW I DON'T SLEEP MUCH!! maybe a little....

Long needed update....

I've got a PS3, the night that my credit card came in I got it. Was gunna go to the store for a PSP but came home with a PS3, idk why tho? I have MGS4 and Resistance for it. I bought Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days a week ago, gunna beat it tonight, if I feel up to it. I enjoyed this game very much, as a diehard KH fan, I've love the story... Tho I have to warn that this game is only for KH fans and some one new to the series shouldn't start with this game.

I work like everyday now and can't get around to much. Though I have no money for some reason...

I think I may finally get my hair cut and some piercings this weekend when I get paid. Probably going black.

I play a bit of Beatles Rock Band and Fallout 3 this week, oh and last Saturday I was up at 4am and I didn't go to bed Sunday at 6am, I was awakened by my alarm clock at 8am which kinda failed because it woke up my fr

Ninja Gaiden 2 (360) Review

When you think of hard games, you bring up Contra 3, Super Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, Silver Surfer and, of course, the Ninja Gaiden trilogy. The Ninja Gaiden trilogy for the NES was and still is awesome (except the third one - it was okay but was way more frustrating than challenging). Nothing but nostalgia from there on. There was also 3D Ninja Gaiden for the original Xbox. Damn good tribute to nostalgia, I say. Its one tricky mofo, much harder than God of War and Devil May Cry, but still an awesome game everyone with either an original Xbox or a 360 should give a shot (and there’s always Sigma for PS3 owners). So after doing away with Ninja Gaiden Alpha Turbo Dub Edition Remix, the developers started tinkering with some new stuff for a sequel. When it came out and everybody played it, they noticed that it was a good sequel, but needed about 4 or so months of development since it got glitch

Halo 3: ODST review just posted~

Hope most of you are enjoying a long weekend, since Monday is a Canadian and American holiday -- I don't think I ever celebrated Columbus Day as a kid though. Anyway, we've got our second late review out of the way, so you may wanna check it out.

Once again, not on the front page due to lateness. Still, Halo 3: ODST is a big deal, and it's a great game. I recommend you guys check out the review and get your hands on a copy -- rent or buy. Feel free to leave some feedback for the review as well; we always appreciate those. Whether you like the franchise or not, ODST is a new take on Halo, with a bit of the new and old rolled in one. The soundtrack is amazing and goes along with the overall mood very well. Might actually be more enjoyable played solo, surprisingly enough...
