Did they really need to put a Mic on the Nintendo DS Lite? Does it really have any potential besides an almost pointless add on?

Yeah, rant blog. Alright, basiclally I was playing Pokemon Platinum earlier and started messing about in the underground. I happen to step on fire trap, which, for the record, sets your player on fire, and as he stand there without a care in the world, you have to blow it out via the mic.

Grr I spent so long trying to blow into that mic to put it out, but nothing was happening. I was almost kissing the mic seemingly at one point just to get it to work. And you know what? I didn't even get out in the end, had to soft reset. :(

So yeah, I don't need to see why we've gotta look like idiots via the mic.

So, recently, I started to watch the 1st series of Pokemon and play one of the games again, just to kill time and stuff, but from then on, I was hooked again! :#

To be honest, I don't consider it a bad thing though. I feel it's good to be obsessed over at least one thing. :D

So already I'm back at the point of having favourite Pokemon, and here are my current reasons plus a short reason why:

Grovyle: PMD2. Simply. He is one of the most awesome characters in any game or show I've ever seen. Really felt greatly for him.

Darkrai: Coolest looking Pokemon to me, and I love how he can enter dreams and stuff.

Spiritomb: Mysterious and awesome.

Dragonite: Good old 1st gen. :D

So I've finally got around the listening to the entire album Slayer are about to release called World Painted Blood.

For the impaired, Slayer used to be one hell of a force within the metal world with their first 4 albums - Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits (their best), Reign In Blood and South Of Heaven. In between Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits, they released an excellent EP called Haunting The Chapel, which is like a preview of Hell Awaits. Why preview of Hell Awaits and not a mini-redo of Show No Mercy? Show No Mercy was more influenced by bands like Judas Priest and Venom, as opposed to in Haunting The Chapel and beyond, where they developed their own unique sound, but with some Venom influences here and there.

After South Of Heaven, their material went from *bleep*ing classic to just good. Seasons Of The Abyss and Divine Intervention were enjoyable, though I must be in the minority with Div

Last night was not fun. I won't tell what I was; only next year I am going to be a cutpurse. Out group was only five people. And it was just our luck that we got stuck behind a group of 20 preschoolers.....that was massive because there two parents for each kid. And the kids took two fistfuls of candy EACH! What brats......no candy for us! Luckily, the four year olds haave 8:00 bedtimes.

Also, I didn't get much because we had a skinned knee...a breakdown tantrum(no, I WAS NOT getting candy with a 6 year old....9 is a bit old for temper tantrums, isn't it?)and I can't remember what else. My head hurt from all the crying. So, two of the five headed home early. By then no one really had any candy left, so after another fruitless 45 minutes of walking, we headed back too. All the candy I got sucked.....a bunch of super size peanut stuff..... AND I CAN'T HAVE PEANUTS IN THE HOUSE! *wails*

So, yesterday was Halloween, the one holiday I can't stand yet last night was *bleep*ing hilarious. I won't go into details but it involved one of my friends and an ass full of sweets, followed by their consumption by this said person. Disgusting. Hilarious. Both mean the same in this senario. I guess it was one of those "you had to be there" moments from me, Rebecca, Ian (ass full of sweets) and Ashley (the one who puts the sweets there) were just pissing ourselves laughing . FYI we don't make a habit of it or done it before, infact me and Becca were making the pumpkins when Ian collapsed on the floors laughing with Ashley in persuit only to see Haribo erupting from his trousers. Loads of other funny shit went on, by that was last nights highlight.
