2000 complete profiles....

Okay, I know, it's not really a high number because I'm sure that a lot of people have more than 2000 profiles but still, I've reached a new milestone today, with a lot of casual games (trying to submit all the sequels), DS (and the usual things I'm not playing: Imagine series for example) and...

iPhone. Yes, iPhone!

iPhone... Strangely, I don't feel stressed when I'm submitting iPhone games, not as it was when the section opened. And I should be worrying about it, I mean, I can honestly say that more than 90% of the profiles in the section were submitted by me.

The strange thing is that nearly nobody is contributing in it... apart the usual members that were already helping me to fill the sections like Vermillion or Intoxication.

Guys, I know you missed me but for the iPhone, don't tell me that because I've tried to give a good base for the section who was poor at the time, you thought that

Open Your Eyes (23/11/09)

Then unexpectedly, something unusual occurred. The screen began to glow, a bright white shine that filled the monitor screen. I stood up from the chair, perplexed by this strange happening. The light then broke from the barriers of the monitor, engulfing the entire room. Then suddenly, I was completely surrounded by white, my body within a void of nothingness. I felt slightly off, gravity seemed to be confused, for I felt myself falling towards my feet (as they should) and behind myself, as if I was on my back. It was odd indeed, for I was standing at the time, but simultaneously feeling as though I was lying down. My head began to throb severely, causing me to gasp in pain slightly. I however remained still. Abruptly, another bright light shone into my face, causing me to close my eyes for a split second. As I squinted to adjust my eyes to the intense light, I realised that I was no lon

The Koopalings are more interesting than you'd think...

The Koopalings have appeared in all of these games, the anime, and even a few cameos! They should have been in eight games, with the eighth being Super Princess Peach, but they were removed. The sprites could be viewed through modification of the game's code though (as seen at the top). They removed them and put in normal bosses that could be found in games like New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS.

There was a long gap without them being seen at all after Hotel Mario for the CD-i. They returned at the end of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. They didn't seem to look like Bowser's Childre

Over already?!

New Super Mario Bros Wii has easily been one of my most anticipated games since its announcement at E3 2009, so when it came out over here not too long ago (Nov 20th) I made sure to snap it up on its first day of release.

I've been having a blast with it...or should I say, I HAD a blast with it.
It's really quite annoying, don't you think? When you've been waiting for a game for what seems like forever, only too get your hands on it and complete it in few days.

Admittedly I only really have myself to blame here. I didn't pace myself too well, and played the game virtually all day yesterday. But every time I went for a break, for which I intended to be a couple of hours or so, it would end up being cut to about ten minutes, as the lure of getting all the star coins and finding all the secret exits became insatiable.

Don't get me wrong here. New Super Mario Bros Wii is a meaty game. But the p

Holey Moley! An Actual Update!!

Yeah I'm updating for the first time in months. I've been really inactive on Neoseeker and I'm trying to become more active again... I've started a Pokemon Diamond Clan, again, hopefully this one will be more sucessful than the last.

I've joined Facebook, even though I said I never would! I thought it was crap and complicated compared to Bebo, but now I prefer FB, to bebo.

I've moved to France. :) Eating escargots!

I've been back to Ireland for the weekend just before halloween, Loaded my suitcase with books that are printed in ENGLISH!!

I'm trying to find an English showing of New Moon somewhere that isn't an hour and a half way... ¬_¬

I've stumbled across Yu-Gi-Oh the Abrigded Series on youtube and recommend it to anyone who likes a good laugh at something ridicalous.

I've been addicted to the Dire Straights song Romeo and Juliet lately (again), it's such a great song.

Just realised

CSI: Deadly Intent DS - first impressions

Well, I'm not writing a review because I didn't finish the game but I can't help myself to make a comparison with Dark Motives on the same platform.

Dark Motives is perhaps the clone of the PC version but at least, we had some liberties and the reflex to play like on PC for those having already that experience. You were free to choose what you wanted to do, to ask questions by yourself, to choose the tool, etc. etc. It was just missing some music, some hard evidence to collect,...

Here on Deadly Intent, the DS is a collection of four new cases (and I can truly say that it is sufficient when you see some minigames), exclusive to it and not being a clone of the PC. True, when you see what you need to do on PC, what is proposed in DS is more inspired by the mechanics of CSI: NY.

If at least we have some new music, the new team and cartoon graphics that are really good, I'm just having some neg

Lair of the Stal.

Mortal beings created the Stal, but we can't destroy the Stal forever, just as you cannot truly defeat an Immortal.... or Ganon...... he's harder to kill then a cockroach. The Stal consist of every Undead creature on The Legend Of Zelda.

Namely:

Stalfos

Large creatures immpossible to defeat without a certian weapon.

Redead

Creatures whose screams can paralyze the living.

Stalkin

Smaller skeletal creatures who travel in mobs near the hundreds.

Staltroop

The servents of Stallord.

Poes

Ghosts created by all the evil emtions in the world and filled with hate and sorrow.

And, the greatest of all the Stal,

Twilit Fossil, Stallord.

What do you call it when...

...you just can't seem to stick to any plans? I'm terrible at it. "I'm going to write in my blog every day," I once said on my old account. Did it happen? No. "I am DEFINITELY going to write a diary this year - and stick to it!" Does it happen? Nope.

I have tried and failed many times to stick to things. It just doesn't work. I can't even grow a red turnip on Animal Crossing - and all you have to do is water it once a day for a week! Speaking of Animal Crossing, it has to do with this post. Since I got an SD card, I can now take screenshots on AC:CF, so I thought "I know! Since I can't do anything daily, I'll do a WEEKLY AC diary on YouTube!" I thought this was the solution, since there was no pressure to play the game every day. I've only made one video, and now I haven't played the game for 3 days in a row. So I guess that plan won't work either. Time to delete the video...

Viking: Battle For Asgard review

    Viking: Battle For Asgard
You can cut heads off, disembowel them, bludgeon their heads before decapitation, and neuter them with the elements.
I think it's safe to say that vikings haven't gotten enough love in the video game world. There are too many centered around the Greek gladiators and the knights of the round table... Where are the damn vikings? Oh, The Lost Vikings for the Sega Genesis? That's a puzzle game! I want to kill things as a viking! Come on, they're the most feared sort of human beings in history... and we're going to put them in a genre about as scary as the booger man? It's time to take action! Kudos to Creative Assembly for knowing everybody's pain and creating a viking game that lives up to their legacy, and kudos to Sega for producing it (now if only they had this consistent quality control... I don't know, you explain why Sonic has been so mediocre as of late!). V
