I have come across only one such girl in my lifetime. Her name was Katherine Lacrùss she was french, and by far the most beautifull girl I've met. Excluding my fiance of course. I went out with her and I still remember her beautifull green eyes.

Well I have met two girls with Anime Like Eyes at school.They were twins from Cambodia. Dana and Stacy.
My girlfriend is the third I've seen,her name is Ayumi Matsumoto,we call her Mima for short.
She's got the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

When taking animation I studied it a bit and they use the big eyes to make characters more expressive without having to use a lot of facial animations. People identify a lot about the character through their eyes so it's a cheap and easy way that has become very definitive of the style.

Also worth noting that there's a surgical procedure that people have to get their eyelids cut short to copy the big eye look since it has become so popular over there. Originally made for older people and those who lost proper nerve function in that area but like many procedures was changed for cosmetic purposes.

Wouldn't Surprise me that they do that,I mean so many damn surgeries are done now adays.

Also I was under the impression that this was called character drawing.

Never seen that done before actually.

I'm working on one myself of Spike from Cowboy Bebop,using the word Spike.
So far I've only done his face.

I think you're supposed to use words that describe them, and I'd recommend actually drawing out the character(very lightly) first.

Well I didn't know but someone told me it's possible to do this type of drawing using a single word so I'm doing that.

I prefer to draw while looking at what I'm supposed to.
I have a pic of Spike next to the drawing I'm doing.
And god be damned if it isn't hard to do this.
I did a digital one using numbers but my pc crashed a few months ago so bye bye to that one.

There are a lot of chances of smearing with that kind of drawing. Be careful with it.

Yep,especially if your a lefty like me.
I sometimes have to put it sideways to keep that from happening.

So you know then,I hate writing with pens.
And highschool was pretty much only pens.
I used to go home with my pinkey all bluish.

Lefty with nerve damage, I can hardly write. I'm lucky that I can draw.

When I finish a drawing my pinky and part of my palm is covered in ink and graphite.

Dang,thats harsh.
