The Brutal Transition Of Parents; Ancient Technology To Actual Technology.

It's been a while since I last blogged, so here I am, posting about an actual truth that has been approaching the world with no sign, therefore passing by unnoticed.

Technology, children, and parents; past, present, and future.

We currently live in a world with Technology that advances constantly. Adds more stress to our lives, sometimes it is useful, sometimes its advance should be stopped, and sometimes, its advance should be accelerated. Regardless of what is is done, it is time to take extreme measures to what people do with technology, thereby it's time to slap parents a cup of today's technology. As a matter of fact, we are not in the 70's - 80's anymore. Technology won't stop, therefore it is time to do some harsh changes to peoples' lifestyles, specially with technologies that involve communication, such as the internet and mobile cellphones. Those who have kids, and were born in a

Google Is A Powerful Tool That No One Knows How To Use Correctly.

* First a disclaimer. I only and only use Google to search the Web, because I simply don't like other search engines.

Yes, it is a fact. Ye Ol' Google is taken way too lightly this days. When people ask you what Google is, you simply say it is a search engine to search the web (assuming you get that question and you don't feel the urge of punching the questioner in the face). Next time you answer to the question "What is google?", make sure you add the word "powerful" - Google is a powerful search engine.

There are two kind of people that don't find their answers using Google: Those who tried but don't know how to use it, and those who ask in and ask their questions in forums or someone else. Many people do use Google and find their answers. Many, MANY people use Google, but they don't know how to unleash its full power, even people who have been used Google for years, including myself, do

Death, Your End. What Do You Want To Happen After Wards?

Someday, a doctor will determine that my heart will stop working, and that I have my days counted. I don't want you to bury me, but rather, use my functional parts to help others.
  • GIVE MY SIGHT, to a little girl who has never enjoyed the beauty of a rainbow.
  • GIVE MY ABILITY TO SPEAK, so a little boy has the chance to scream a "gooooaaallll" in a soccer game.
  • GIVE MY ABILITY TO LISTEN, to a little girl who could never listen the wonderful sound of raindrops crashing against the glass windows.
  • GIVE MY ABILITY TO WALK, to a little girl who can't run in a beautiful and colorful field of flowers.
  • GIVE MY ABILITY TO SMILE, to a little boy who has lived in the abyss of a father that has been disappointed for everything the child has made.
  • Finally, GIVE MY ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND, so humanity can finally open their hearts to differences and accept others as their are, so masks don't become the p

Error 404: Page Not Found. Earth's History In Danger.

Whether you have been using the Internet for a long time now, or just got into it a few months ago, you certainly have seen an "404: Page Not Found" error. Do they represent a possible risk? Yes. Is there a way to recover the data that there was in the place holder instead of the 404 Error? Probably, with a bit of luck.

Nowadays we live in a world where computers are used a lot, probably more people nowadays would rather keep files in their computers rather than puting them into paper. I myself have never printed a photo ever since I have had a digital camera. But not everything is a safe, and the data you keep in your computer or on the internet can be destroyed as well.

Yeah, probably you knew that, but you said "we still have libraries!". Effectively, luckily, we still libraries that provide a lot of knowledge in their books. And books usually have a good amount of copies distributed wo

Technology Has Been Mean To Me In The Past... Year?

I am sure every individual has had at least one time in which they think everything that happens around them is wrong. Usually, they only feel that's the case for a few days, a few weeks, some even think everything works wrong for them while they are alive. In my case, technology has been my nemesis for a few long months, or to be more specific, one year and a half.

Everything started in Early 2008. I had a nice laptop which was my main computer of all the time, and I used it frequently. I got it in about March 2007. I used it everyday, until the day of my vacation came, and I packed my stuff to have a nice vacation in Orlando and Miami. I didn't take my laptop with me, because I really wanted to relax in those days. I stayed three weeks in the US, and it was time to return. When I got back, the first I thing I did was to finish some incomplete work in my laptop. I did all that, completed

A-ID App For iPhone: Proof That People Are Using The Device Like They should.

Probably many of you are getting tired of me blogging about the iPhone in such a constant matter. But in all honesty, I really, really love this little device too much.

I believe that this device is really powerful when it is jailbroken. But people are starting to make apps that are worth the money on the AppStore. Today, this little application called A-ID(iTunes Link), this application is pretty much an Emergency Controller. Did you lose your child? 2,000 children are reported missing in the US everyday, and with every hour that passes, the chance of the child living is less than 50%. Do you have asthma attacks, or any friend, familiar, or anyone is having problems and requires emergency attention as soon as possible? With this app you will get attention as soon as they heed your call. This is the description, as seen in its iTunes page:

iPhone/iTouch Jailbreaking - Where Did Everything Start?

If you are new to the whole iPhone scene, then there's a huge chance that you have heard the word "jailbreak" before. If you are an oldie to the iPhone scene, loyal to AT&T or not, then you have undoubtedly have heard the term "jailbreak" before.

Before I go further with this post, I will explain what Jailbreaking is, for those that heard the word, but have no idea of what it means.

Jailbreak is a very nice word for the iPhone and iTouch (for now on simply called "devices"). That you have your iTouch or iPhone jailbroken means that you have your device open, "free of its jail", to run unsigned code (generally, applications that are not in the Apple AppStore) in your device. Jailbroken devices have a big, beautiful advantages over non-Jailbroken iPhones. One advantage is that applications for Jailbroken devices can mess with their private frameworks - meaning that you can do a lot more your

Apple And Its iTouch/iPhone Apps - They Need A Better System.

In the past months - soon to be ages -, Apple has reviewed (did they really?) over one billion applications so far. There are certainly many, many problems with this. Firstly, they apparently have a lazy team of people that does the so called "reviewing" job, or they have many people in that team that are simply sick and tired of reviewing over god-knows-how-many apps a day. In all honesty, the whole apps system is completely messed up. Apple is having big issues with everything that goes in the world (or should I say, all the apps that go in their world). I am going to pin-point them, and see if they ever come to a solution for them.
  • Where the heck can we find a "demo" option for the apps we can use before we buy them? Sure, many developers opt to release "lite" versions of their apps that are completely free, but they are very limited, like we can see with Labyrinth, which has a Lab

Who Wants NAMFox On Internet Explorer, NAMIE?

This is the thing; like many of you know, I like to program, or to make websites as a hobby. In the past I have been learning a lot of things to the point I consider myself to be very proficient with a lot of computer stuff I have learned in the past.

Now, just so I don't bug you with a tiny piece of background of my life, I want to ask you guys: would you like to have NAMFox ported to Internet Explorer? I am asking this because with the new programming language I am learning, I can make toolbars for Internet Explorer. The main problem is that you won't have it in quite a time, and the first release will be certainly very buggy. "NAMIE" (that's what I want to call the toolbarm but if you have suggestions for the name, feel free to let me know :P!) would be my very real application I deploy to the public.
Not only that, but with the latest release of Internet Explorer 8, I don't know if the

Chain Letters; 4 Important Reasons To Break Them.

What are chain letters? Chain are the letters the things that most people get in their mail, the body of the mail says something like "send this to 14 contacts or you die tomorrow!!!!", then regardless of if you believe on the chain letter, you decide to send the freaking chain letter to 14 contacts on your list.

Who makes them?
    1.- Children

Children make the popular "you will tomorrow if you don't send this", "if u send dis to 15 contacts a girl will love you", "send dis to everyone on ur list and u will be lucky". Children make the least harmful types of chain letters/junk mail, but it is the most annoying for some reason.
You HAVE to stop that stupid practice of resending chain mail, NOW.
    2.- Cheap, Idiotic Attention Seekers:

Most of the time these are drama queens that are like "plz i ned ur moneh 2 saveh mai lifez"... This is the worst of all. Because unfortunately, most of the time
