I really haven't kept up with this, have I? I think I'll start doing something pretty often though, which I know I've said before, but...I'm gonna try this time.
Anyways, this post is pretty much about what it sounds like: Gaming. I've recently been sucked back in since I bought my PS3. I didn't really think I'd use the PS3 much, but it's taken up ALL of my time that isn't used by music or Neo. If you don't have one, I highly recommend it, since it truly can be addicting.
Anyways, as for games, my life has revolved around one specific game for a while now: Tales of Graces F. As soon as I picked it up, I knew I'd be in love with it, but I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do. I've put in about 100 hours, but that only involves one runthrough and part of another one. This game has even beaten Tales of Symphonia as my favorite game of all time. Cheria's the best character in the game too, but I main Asbel, who I enjoy because I'm a big melee guy. This game actually makes the spellcasters bearable though, as I enjoy playing as every single character.
If you have access to a PS3 and some extra cash lying around, I recommend picking this or the next game I mention up. Both are absolutely amazing and will keep you caught for a while. I only got away from the next game because of Tales of Graces F.
Now, for the next game...Jak and Daxter Collection. When I first got my Playstation 2 as a little kid, the very first game I had was...Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. That was my favorite game next to the beauty that was Pokémon Gold at the time...and honestly, it still is very high up on my list of all time great games. Anyways, this game sucked me in immediately, as I knew it would. I've beaten all three of the games on it (the entire Jak and Daxter trilogy), and it's been amazing every time I've done it. The only one I have a Platinum trophy on is the first one, but that's mainly because Jak II and 3 take WAY too long to Platinum. If you need a game to just run around and beat things up, this is the game to go with. 3in1 sandbox style games...it's truly beautiful.
The next game, Portal 2, was something a friend bought for me. It really is a good game, but I'm struggling to get through it. I'm in Chapter 3, and the puzzles just aren't hard enough yet to keep me entertained. My friend bought it because I was too stubborn to buy it myself because I knew I wouldn't enjoy it, but I am sitting it through it as patiently as possible. Multiplayer with him was kind of fun, but that's about all I can see that this game has going for it.
Finally, Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS. This game is truly amazing. I've only played 7.5 hours (the other games are distracting), but I love it for everything it has to offer. The best part is that it's huge...there are so many enemies and weapons to keep you busy for a long time. I've only done multiplayer once, and I probably won't do it all too much unless I find a bit of time away from Graces F, but I also recommend this game if you have a 3DS. It's worth playing. I'm not a fan of shooters, but this one got my attention because a man named Gotenks recommended it. Now I staff the wiki and enjoy working on it. ...plus, Viridi. She's one of the best video game characters of all time. Seriously, I love her.
Anyways, that's pretty much it for now. I'll probably write reviews of all four games mentioned in here once I'm done with them all, so you can check those out if you're interested and want to learn more than what I put in one paragraph for each game. :) Those'll include videos, pictures...whatever I can use to convince someone to buy the games...that I like.
