First, sorry for the crummy blog post last time, I had nothing to write about, but something just recently happened that broke my heart.
Tuesday, July 14th, my Grandma passed away. Not just of old age, but of the wretched disease known as Alzhiemer's Dissease. If you don't know what it is, or does, it's a horrible disease that eats away at your brain and revokes your everyday functions and destroys your memory. Like a virus in a computer, this disease destroys you from the inside-out. During the last month-weeks of your life, you could either be bedridden and tortured, or you could be in a comma like state. My Grandma was tortured in bed with nightmares and was calling on a voice so barely audible, "...Ma!...Wait for me Ma!..." It was heartbreaking to watch, and frustrating that it's illegal to take morphine and put yourself out of your misery, especially at that point.
R.I.P. Mom-Mom!
