So, E3 is here. This is my first major experience with a Gaming Expo, and I'm really looking forward to it. So, instead of a regular blog, I just got bored and put a list together of 20-or-so things that would make me so happy I would run around screaming. I tried to add things that I'm not sure have been announced yet, so not Dead Rising 2 or Alan Wake. Sorry.
If anyone has any already existing games like those I've mentioned, say. I'll probably enjoy them.
The Next HaloOk, it's going to happen. When and by whom is still undecided, but it will. With Halo: ODST looking pretty good and Halo Wars being proof that the series can do well without FPS elements, I think a new Halo will be inevitable. I'd love something with the same action as Halo, though with a more interesting plot, potentially more characters, guns and vechiles. Because remember: It's just not a good game until you have nunchucks with chainsaws on the end.
Resident Evil 6Yes, I'm very impatient. I'll confess to having not played RE5 (bar the demo) yet, but I still want this game. I've enjoyed the Resident Evil series greatly, and I'd still enjoy this game, no matter if RE5 turns out to be a turd when I buy it. Alternatively...
Left 4 Dead 2This could satifsy my zombie killing lust. I played the first on PC and will soon be getting it for 360, so until then I'll just hope that this comes out ASAP so I can play it and the first in a happy congealed mess.
An Imaginative FPSSince Halo was the success it was, we're going to have more and more publishers desperately seeking a way to bleed it dry. There's been so many FPS's it's getting slightly dull now. I'm tired of being a big hunking space marine, and no matter how pretty you polish it, it's the same as it's always been. I'd love a game which seems really new for an FPS, something like a darker Ratchet and Clank would do nicely.
A True-To-Life Historical GameIf anyone knows of one of these, let me know. It could be dull, but if a company could pull off, say, World War I correctly, surely it would be able to pull it off? Just please don't put it in WWII.
 GTA VSelf explanatory.
An Open-World Zombie/Batman GameOr a zombie game where you play as Batman taking out zombies with batarangs. THAT MUST BE THE SEQUEL TO ARKHAM ASYLUM.
A Fully Destructable City GameThis is probably the hardest of the bunch. Red Faction: Guerrilla seems to have made this possible, but how cool would it be set in a city? Think GTA mixed with Red Faction. It's a sure hit.
A Fantasy Game That's Not An MMORPGI really want a game in which it's a fantasy game, but it's not so nerdy or so dull. I don't want to train to be a wizard - I want to hunt giant 50ft skeletons in a labyrinth. That would be brilliance on a disc.
Star Wars Battlefront IIIYes, it's announced. But little more has been said since then. It's been to 3 developers. Surely one could make this game?
 Marvel v D.C.I can dream.
Gears of War 3Like Halo 4, this is inevitable. It'll come soon enough - hopefully they'll be a gun that shoots chainsaws this time.
DC: Ultimate AllianceMarvel seems to have pulled this off rather well, though I would like to see Batman team up with Superman, Green Lantern and Rorschach - when you actually think about it though, Marvel do have a wider known set of characters. But I think that this could still work.
A Samurai GameA game slightly more complex than Afro Samurai. The wide range of possible gadgets and weapons and ways to use them is incredible, and could make for a great game.
Games Worthy of FilmsSlightly wider spectrum here. There's very few good games of movies (Wolverine seems the exception) and therefore I long for a good Batman game or a good Terminator game, or even a good Superman game. There's not much available so this is a plea: Please put some effort into these games.
 Duke Nukem ForeverYeeeeeah...moving on.
Open World Time Traveling GameI'd love this so much I'd probably end up sleeping with the box. It's incredibly unlikely and hard to make, but wouldn't it be insanely good if at one moment you were at this colossal space ship, and the next in a place like Hooverville? An interesting way to go through the ages.
A Non-Micheal Bay Influenced Transformers GameThis surely could do well. The potential is endless.
Batman: Arkham Asylum 2If the zombie game isn't to Eidos's style (and it probably won't be) than a sequel to the forthcoming Arkham would be brilliant. I'm hoping for Batman: Gotham City personally.
Insanity On A DiscSo I've asked for a lot of open world games, but this one would top the lot. You could grapple an open window and climb up the wall of an office block, or maybe hook a helicopter and smash it into the streets. Throw a person off a tower and watch them hit the ground. Crash planes into the sea. Use spaceships to blow up the houses of parliament. Fly the Titanic across the sky. This would be the greatest thing in the history of anything ever.
Please let it be made.
