Tattoos really are an addiction

So back from the tattoo parlour with an unfinished tattoo and a sore back, will be fun sleeping tonight as I will have to sleep on my side or stomach.

Anyway for those unaware, I already have tattoo and have had it for the last three years, which I found funny as the tattoo artist said to me "Three years? Blimey how have you gone that long without getting another?"

First tattoo I got when I turned 18

I could bore you with the reason why I got a second tattoo but meh I suppose I can edit it in if it must be bought up.

Anyway below was the original idea for the tattoo, originally being two separate tattoos. After speaking with the guys at my local tattoo parlour, we decided it would be best to combine them into one. Several months passed and I got a phonecall a few days before the viewing date. No matter what they did, they couldn't get the two tattoos to work right and so asked me if I was fine with a "tribal wolf design"

Ideas for second tattoo

I decided to go with it and well I was blown away with what they came up with. I wished I actually got a picture of the full design but while getting the first part done today, we had a chat and agreed upon the fact that the yin yang and dragons need to be enlarged for all of it to look right and for the detail to be seen

Bigger version of second tattoo

I go back Feb 17th to get the second part done, another 4 hour session. I then go back for a final time on June 11th since I want the areas near the shoulders expanding to go across my shoulders. All in all it will cost around £560...might be a lot and to some people might not be worth it. Then again it's not like I am snorting £560 worth of drugs or wasting it in a pub

That looks painful! But... if it's what you like, kudos.

meh wasn't entirely painful...well when it got towards colouring in at the shoulder blades then yes it did hurt. Hell if anyone tells you that a tattoo doesn't hurt at all then they are lying.

Then again it all boils down to the pain threshold, though many people do say it has something to do with kinkiness

What I find funny though or more so, ironic...is that I can sit down for a full 3 hours and let someone drag a needle that seems to be moving at 3000 beats per second (or something crazy as that) yet as soon as I stump my toe or trap my finger, I am practically in tears and cursing the inanimate object that caused me so much suffering ¬_¬

Whoa, the edges are looking quite sore..how many days would the feeling be back to normal?
I'm considering to get a tattoo myself but I'm not allowed to have permanent ones, plus I do get bored fast.
But hennas are quite gay-ish, no choice though, that's the only thing I'm allowed to get.

Marooned, are you black, or another race? What if I said woah, hennas are super black, hennas are super chinky? I'm assuming since you said your not allowed to get a tattoo yet that your still under 18. Please grow up with the gay-ish comments. Its not cool online, offline and is plain offensive.

Honestly, it's not the end of the world if someone says 'gay' as an adjective. She should be telling you to grow up for blowing up about it. Calling anything gay that isn't human is an obvious error seeing as it only pertains to human beings and has an entirely different meaning. She didn't press negativity towards homosexuals in any way so I don't see how that can possibly be offensive. Unless you're a henna. Are you a henna?

You sound like a preaching school teacher. This is ridiculous.

          XD, I lol'd.
No, I'm not black, I'm asian tbh.
And I'm sorry if I offended you with my comment, that's just the way I find it since people would say that I'm just scared of needles thus being chinky. But whatever. And I'm already 18, my dad just doesn't want me to have permanent marks on my skin so yea.

A few days but nohing that can't be handled especially if looked after correctly.

However tattoos are about self expression, I'm all for the different styles of tattoos and reasons but if someone gets a perm tatt and gets bored with it then no sympathy here I'm afraid.

Henna's, well I don't dabble with things like that but if that's what someone likes then whatever floats their boat

Nice ink dude. I have 7 myself. By far the most painful one for me was on my stomache....it took the dude 4 hours, and it's still not finished!! He told me he couldn't work on it any longer and I agreed, but that is one pain I haven't quite forgotten enough to get it finished LMFAO
