The Insane Asylum

So bored and decided to "google" my name, funnily enough most of me as ShadowJ cropped up and then a few odd bits popped up that weren't but I must say, this is the first time I have come across something that was me but not me at the same time.

To explain, in 2000-2001 I joined a 2D text based roleplaying game known as Barp Online. This is basically where "ShadowJ" came from and if any of you search the writing forum then you will find his story that was created within Barp, grown and still is growing even now. Yes that means I have been working on his story for around 9 years now and it has even been split into three stories (not a trilogy just yet)

So you can see why I am slightly angry but also shocked to find this little gem hiding within the search results. It's basically the first part of the story I posted in Barp online forums when I first started writing, however it seems the site's "contact us" page is ironically, not working and so I can't contact them to remove it.

What astounds me is, I never thought of myself as someone who would have their work stolen and passed off as someone else's work. I suppose in a way I underestimated myself, though if anyone is interested in the actual and more "full" story then you find it here
