Hey, just a quick blog to explain a little about me for those of you who don't know me or don't know much about me, not gonna' go on for too long.


Basic Information

Interests:

My main interest in life is socializing, I have a big group of friends of which I spend time with. I enjoy going out for drinks with my older lot and having a laugh at the pub/clubs with them, trying to pull birds and all that lark.

I also enjoy doing other things like going down the park and playing football with them, or just jamming in a house with a few mates, beers and a bit of the old PS3.


When I'm not with mates I'm either lazing about at home watching a bit of Eastenders, Corrie or SmallVille or on my PC browsing Neo, Facebook, playing Football Manager or on MSN chatting to mates.

I have a fond love for Football (Soccer) and I'm a big fan of Arsenal FC and try to catch as many of their games as possible on TV, mainly because I can't yet afford a season ticket. However everytime tickets are sold to the public I'll try to get some, so far everytime I try its been sold out though.

My friends say that I'm a pretty fun guy, the Jack-The-Lad but apparently I don't have the greatest attitude in the world and need to work on it a little. :shifty: I'd agree with everything they say though, however I just try to enjoy life to the fullest. :)


Neoseeker:

Well I found Neoseeker back in 06' when I was looking for some help with FM06 and joined up with the name Sam_P, at first I was the typical newbie basically just spamming a little and getting into petty arguments with people.

After a while I found Loungin' and the Football (Soccer) forum and began to post more and more thus becoming a regular in mainly the Football Manager forums & Football (Soccer).



Moderating:


Football (Soccer):

After a year and a bit browsing Neoseeker I was offered the chance to moderate the footie forum in around February this year, I took the chance as I really enjoyed the forum and the general atmosphere in the place.

Obviously people were shocked at my appointment and at first it didn't go too great but over time I've really began to enjoy moderating their and I feel that the community is at the best its been since I got the spot.

I have a great Co-Mod in Irish Gamer who everyone likes and the fact we are both regularly posting in the forum is another thing I like as sometimes you get moderators who don't really interact with the members too much.


FMH08 Temp:

A few months later I went for the temp position in FMH08 and was pleased that I got the spot. The main reason I wanted it was because the forum was in a state and I wanted to help get the community to a good level.

Again people weren't pleased with me getting the spot as I wasn't a big poster in the forum and they wanted another member to get the spot but he wasn't quite ready for the step-up yet.

I feel that during my time in the place I did bring the community back together and had done a good job clearing the forum of spam, arguments and generally making it a better place.

I'd also like to give Underated kudos as he took the spot after me and I feel he done an even better job then me and made the forum an even more welcoming place then I got it to.


Football Manager 2009:

I've been visiting the FM forums for a few years and really enjoyed them. The main reason is because I feel it has one of the best community's on Neoseeker.

Basically the reason I was offered this spot is because Lone Warrior had been promoted to Loungin' (gratz :P) and they needed a new mod for the main forum to take the ropes alongside ViNCeNZo and Underated.

I was extremely pleased to get the chance to moderate this forum as the FMForums are the main reason I come to Neoseeker all those years back and it's nice to have been recognized in them.

I'm pleased with how it is going so far and I'm grateful to have 2 fantastic Co-Mods alongside me in Vince&Shaun.
