Is this a problem for lots of you, or is it just because I laugh whenever I notice the ineptitude of my peers?

Today at school we were standing still for band. We got into our files (front and back), our ranks (left and right), and our diagonals. Then we weren't allowed to move around our area to test endurance and patience. (We could still relax and move our arms, legs, head, etc.) But while we were listening to our director speak...

THERE WAS A BEE IN FRONT OF ME.

I hate bees. This one in particular was just on the ground moving, but not buzzing around, which really annoys me. I felt like stepping on the bee before it decided to fly up and bother me, but I remembered my only bee sting. That sting was kind of pathetic because I got it from stepping on the stinger of a dead bee. Anyways, I wasn't really traumatized by it, but I didn't want to risk it happening again, even though this time I was wearing shoes. How can people stand this?

How can they?

I just can't. I can't stand it when suspenseful, inspiring, funny, or just plain amazing books are turned into less-than-average movies... for example, The Tale of Desperaux. Everyone I talked to hated the movie. If someone here liked that movie, tell me why, please. Sorry if you did like it, though; I just can't stand humor being pushed too far or put in where it shouldn't be.

Speaking of that, I now officially super-hate The Fairly OddParents. That show just overuses punchlines. The episode-related head at the beginning is okay, but the repeated punchline they say at the end is horrible. "Ooh, that's not good for your colons!" "Nogs away!" "Seriously, you should get those fixed." I DON'T CARE WHAT GETS FIXED. Just take away that, the endless stupid jokes, and that irritating win kat the end and I'll only semi-hate that. So I recently got a new iPod nano.

It's yellow like I wanted it to be and it's awesome. Fun and awesome.

But whenever I go on iTunes, there's so much to choose from. I need help with only $10 (US dollars) left, I need to choose songs wisely. And yes, I said songs. I don't want any more videos, because the two classic SpongeBob SquarePants episodes I got took up a lot of room.

So please help, you Neoseekers. (P.S. I listen mainly and probably only to Rock, Pop, Country, etc. Just not Rap or Techno.)

My birthday's gone.

Not gone as in I can't find it, but gone as in it's passed. So it's gone. But oh well.

Before I start, I'd like to make a shoutout.

To 2008.

2008, you have been and always will be awesome. You've given us many great things, like the Olympic Games, the Neolympic Games, great shows, movies, games and music, funny news, the 2008 U.S. presidential election, and more. Yes, you have given us some bad things, like the terror attacks in Mumbai, kidnappings, murders, and continuing The Secret Show. But remember, all years have their share of bad events.

Yes, I am looking forward to 2009. Even though you were awesome, 2008, you are still an old man compared to 2009, a fetus. It's not that I hate old men, but fetuses are much more gentle. I admit that I cannot wait for what this fetus has to offer -- the good things, that is.

Mostly, however, I thank you for giving me this: two days of happiness in a row. Thank you for placing Thanksgiving right before my birthday. I am so very happy now

I'm hoping to get one of those new 4th gen iPod nanos. Yellow is what I prefer. I guess I'll also get some books, games, and podcasts off iTunes.
