Today was my first XC race this season!! It was a very long and arduous journey just to run an easy 19-20 minute race. My night started with me walking into the locker room with the team douchebag flashing his nutsack. It was not a pleasant sight but everyone saw it and weren't happy. Apart from a bunch of lame team meeting stuff nothing happened until we got onto the bus.

There on the bus we were just chilling and my friend sitting next to me is just like "Yo dude I gotta take the gnarliest piss." Since the ride was 2 hours he couldn't hold it in once we got onto to the road. I offered him my empty plastic water bottle to pee in as a joke but he actually used it anyway. Here we were with 8 fl oz of fresh piss. The team douchebag was still flashing his balls and cursing everyone out so we dumped the warm urine on his shirt. :)

When we finally got there it was freezing and raining although it's early September. We waited on a lonnnnnnnng line to use the bathroom. We had to wait another two hours for our race so we spent the whole time preparing. It wasn't fun having to do our lengthy warm up routine in those conditions and just having to sit there afterwards. We were finally at the starting line after all the waiting and the race began :D!!!

I started out pretty easy but eventually I started booking and passed at least 30-40 people. I was aggressive as the whole course was mud and everyone would just go shit-skating so I used that to my advantage. I overtook a lot of people by going around and having to box them in so that they had to run on the mud puddles and gravel. I even made two kids slide and bust ass at the same time just by going around and in front of them. I battled with three people during the race and we constantly swapped race positions. With a mile and a half to go something bad happened...the wind blew my race card off but it landed and stuck onto my arm. I held the thing for the remainder of the race like a baton. It was such a pain in the ass. I eventually lost one kid, then the other, and burnt out the last one in the remaining 50 meters.

Afterwards, my friend was like "yo dude if you buy me some hot chocolate at the snack bar then I'll give you money to buy your own." So I replied "K". I bought the beverages and the lady filled both of them up to the top with no cover or anything. I had to walk a mile back to our tent holding two cups of overflowing hot chocolate. :( I finally ate the sandwich that I brought with me and it was GODLY. I just wanted to leave and go home already but then the team douchebag comes along again. Our departure was delayed because the douche decided to smoke a cigarette in the park and it caused a bit of a stir, especially since he was a minor and it was at a school sponsored event. Once we finally got on the bus I was very tired so I decided to text my best friend (you know who you are) for the next two hours or so.

I finally got home and here I am. I know none of this is interesting but I felt like posting up this experience to look back on. :3
