Does anyone else find it annoying when someone coughs, sneezes, or yawns at the same time or right after you? I find it extremely irritating. I know that yawns are "contagious," but if you know you will yawn, you can suppress or minimize it.
You should find it flattering, since research suggests that the closer people feel towards you the more likely they are to "catch" your yawning.
I agree with suppressing or minimizing it though. I mean, there's no real reason to open your mouth wide and make a massive noise or something. It's possible to yawn discreetly and cover your mouth, sure.
