The Musings of a Shrub

Finals (Spanish, Law, Neuroscience, Statistics)

You know what? Finals are absolute poo. Feces. Excrement. The sooner I can wade through them, the better. Which is why, of course, I'm procrastinating by writing a blog entry. Putting off the shit swamp that is studying for my Spanish oral exam and the dreaded cognitive neuroscience final (I don't really care about my other two finals). Maybe I could write this entry in Spanish about cognitive neuroscience... I'm quite frankly shocked that such a dreadful thought even crossed my mind.

Anyway, maybe I'll use this time to bitch a bit. So, why am I procrastinating here, writing a blog entry, when I have so many other hobbies to attend to that would suffice equally well? You might say that it's because this is much more convenient than outdoor hobbies like photography, but then, I could be watching anime or editing photos. No. The reason I'm not outside taking pictures and such is because, sadly, my camera stand, which was easily 300 USD, broke the other day. The top just fell off. Tried numerous ways of fixing it. None were successful. That's the sad reality. Moreover, anime can only last you so long. When you've watched almost 500 of them, it becomes tedious to find ones that are actually worth watching. Aside from the weekly releases, I just rewatch old stuff. Serial Experiments Lain is a good example. Brilliant anime that is. Every time I watch it it's an interesting experience.

Anyhow, summer plans. Another pressing matter to attend to when you realize that, when finals are over, your free! FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Since I've been stuck in this tiny city since Spring break, the current plan for me is to get the frak out of here and go on a road trip to France, fly to England to meet my sister, then head to Spain for a bit. Maybe get a job there. Then... yeah. I guess I'll go home for month? Sounds like a plan to me.

Well, I guess it's back to work. I miss videogames. I miss them so much. T_T

Cheers,
Mastix (Which, as I recently discovered, is a shrub resin used to make chewing gum)

Writing an entry in Spanish about cognitive neuroscience probably wouldn't have been that bad. xD
Well good luck on your finals, if you haven't taken them yet. I just had 4 college finals the other week and I know they can be stressful >-> Are you planning on going into a law or medical field? I'm just making that guess by the set of classes you took.

Thanks for the support Bethany. Haha. You're probably right. It would have been great practice for my written exam two days ago. I've got my oral today, but I don't think writing in Spanish would help me much there. I think I did relatively well on the Neuroscience exam, regardless. As far as my field goes, I'm effectively undecided, but I'm sort of doing a combined law and psychology major, which would be well supported by neuroscience classes. What did you have, if you don't mind my asking? Haha
