A new PS3

This blog post is a little late, but at the end of last month, I sent my PS3 in to the shop and they didn't even bother fixing it and just gave me a new PS3 for free. The problem is that I wasn't able to get three of my game saves transferred, due to the copy protection. Now I just need to be more careful with my new PS3.

On the plus side, since the price on the PS3 has went down, not only I got my PS3 for free, I got $100 back! Then I went to buy another PS3 game with part of the money I got back.

Movie-based games

Why do people jump the bandwagon and say movie-based games are bad? People are entitled to their opinion on games, but it seems people always jump the bandwagon about movie-based games being bad games. Now, who has actually played a good number of movie-based games? I haven't and that's why I'm not going to bash them. I have played like around 10 of them or so and that's not enough to generalize them. People just like to jump the bandwagon and say they're bad just because other people do. I had no idea movie-based games has such a bad reputation until I started going on these gaming sites.

Now, I am not defending them. I haven't even played very many of them, as I said earlier. But out of the ones I played, some were good and others were bad. But before bashing them and jumping the bandwagon, people should at least play a good number of them. You can't just play 5 movie-based games and sa

I finally have a PlayStation 3!

That's right, I finally have a PlayStation 3! I got it two days ago. I've been waiting to get one for a long time and I'm glad I was finally able to get one. Right now, I only have 3 games for it. The games are LittleBigPlanet, Soul Calibur IV and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. If any of you have these games, we should play some online matches. Now, I must go to play my PlayStation 3 more!

Why do people hate new things?

Does it annoy anyone else that people bash things that they didn't grow up with? For example, I've seen a lot of bashing for the Wii. If gaming went forward sooner and if the Wii was released 10 years earlier than it was, it would have been praised much more than it is now. Personally, I'll take the Wii over the Nintendo 64 any day and yes, I did get the Nintendo 64 shortly after it's release.

It's not just with gaming though, but pretty much anything. I think people should try to appreciate new things a little more. Who cares if they didn't grow up with it?

I borrowed a PS3

That's right, a few days ago, I borrowed a PS3 from someone and I've rented a few games. I've been playing Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter 4, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Grand Theft Auto 4, Heavenly Sword and Devil May Cry 4. I was also going to rent LittleBigPlanet, but someone else had it rented at the time, so maybe I'll check again soon. I've been playing a lot for the last few days and I'll be playing it much more until I give it back. This makes me so I can't wait to own a PS3 even more so now though.

Have you ever waited a long time for a console, but not have it yet? It's happened to me a few times, including with the PlayStation 3. I haven't been playing all that many games lately and I really hope to finally get one soon. I need more games.

My Neogallery again

Well, okay, most of the photos were deleted in my gallery, but I re-uploaded a few after I was given permission to do so. Take a look at this thread. So, what I don't get it that why are people making a big deal over my gallery. The argument has been going on for days. I mean seriously, I just want some photos of some of my favorite models there. Is that such a problem? Redemption and some super mods already answered my question, but some of the members just kept going on about it.

A few of them were actually deleted too. I don't get that, because they are no worse than banners or guestbook stamps I've seen around before. But anyway, who here likes them?

About my innocence

After thinking about it, I must be a really innocent person, ain't I? I mean, like I don't smoke, drink, swear or look at porn like many people around my age do. Okay, well, swear words have slipped out of my mouth on a few occasions, but I mean, I'm not a person who swears regularly. I used to swear online a little bit sometimes too, but I stopped that. I really hate how people think that if you don't smoke, drink, swear or look at porn, you're not cool or whatever. I also hate how people think that drinking is required at parties and stuff.
