K. I've been really pissed off lately for many reasons. Mainly because of the idiocy of the human race. If you take offense to rage comments towards religion, bigotry, conspiracy theories, intended mediocrity, or general idiocy, I suggest you stop reading now. :3
First off, bigots. They need to learn to accept the brutal fact that people are DIFFERENT. And some people need to realize that making up bullshit excuses for bigotry is so easily seen through. Like one example, I saw some asshole saying that blacks aren't human. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or facepalm.
Religious bigots, oh my. I love these people. I just love how they hide behind the words of others long since passed to give them an excuse to consider themselves superior. I also love how it's usually Christians who do this. Now, some of my family is Christian, and they're rather cool. These douches give the polite religious people a horrible name. They spread lies, deceit, and supremacy and use Jesus as a mascot. They're generally just crafting a personal little Hell on Earth, thinking that they'll go to Heaven because they believe in some dude who by the words of their own book of religion was disgraced? He is ultimately accepted to have donned long hair. Do correct me if I'm wrong, though.
"Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him?" ~1 Corinthians 11:14
God, how people are fooled in these days. No offense intended to religious people (although, I know at least SOMEONE will), but organized religion is a monetary tool in the modern age. Churches don't give a *bleep* about what you believe, as long as they continue to make money without having to pay taxes. I have nothing against the fact that people believe what they believe, but I do have a problem with the fact that people allow themselves to be used by their religion. However, those who blindly and mindlessly follow a religion deserve to be used. If they lack the simple processes of being able to think for one's self, they're helpless in my eyes.
People use their religion as a moral code, but they pick and choose. The thing is, religious moral code and modern ethics conflict in multiple areas. Slavery, murder, and intolerance for example. Religions preach sexism, homophobia and racism. As far as I see it, following religion word for word is just as bad as Nazism. There aren't many, if any moral differences. We need to stop using religion as an excuse for hatred and intolerance. It's no longer a legitimate excuse, yet we continue to accept it.
Now, conspiracy theories, the Illuminati, and the New World Order. These are some of my favorite subjects because it shows that people just can't live with what's put in front of them. God forbid, things are actually as they seem to be. Things would just be too *bleep*ing simple, wouldn't they? 'Cause without insane ideas, this world is just too usual and boring, huh? I don't see why things just can't be simple in the mind of these conspiracy theorists. KFC making black men impotent. British Royal Family are actually reptilian aliens from the core of the earth. Bar codes are used to control people. 9/11 was orchestrated by the U.S. government. U.S. government faked landing on the moon. Such creative imaginations! And now, the Illuminati. Why the *bleep* would an organization who wants to remain secret leave CLUES to their existence? Are they imbeciles, like the people who came up with this crazy idea? Do some research, guys. The Illuminati disbanded in the 18th century. They were a real organization, but they did not plan to take over the world. That's MY job. =P
The idiots who came up with that have some real creativity. However, creativity does not remedy stupidity. The genetic intelligence of the world just might improve if we could stop letting these idiots breed and spread their plague of foul nonsense to the masses. This is a reason I really see humanity as a doomed race. Our masses are blind and stupid. Our minority of intelligence is not enough for a thriving race.
Due to this lack of intelligence, people give up on their dreams when they hit a difficult point. They're okay where they are and they lower their dreams to fit their range of ability. Uhhh... Aren't the point of aspirations to make you work harder? To better yourself so that you can achieve them? Too many people have goals of mediocrity. More people need inspiration to attempt to be influential and inspiring. Yes, we need mindless drones to do the physical labor. Some people ENJOY doing that, so that becomes what they aspire to. One should always strive for their dreams, no matter how outrageous or difficult the path to achieving it is.
Oh, but on a much more positive note, as of yesterday I've been with my girl for two months without totally *bleep*ing up. =D <333
EDIT: I added a link to an example of some asshole saying that blacks aren't human, just in case you want to read for yourself.
Oh, point taken. :3 So many people follow religion because it's what mommy and daddy said. Everyone else seems to follow no organized religion, or at least has their own variation.
Hey man somewhere on this website we have to find some place to cuss and rant. But I think i'll get my flame thrower because I feel like scaring some little kids
Interesting article. I havnt seen enough like this, where people tell it like they really feel.
I agree about religion frequently becoming a medium for exploitation and money making, and that it often breeds intolerance. However, I'm a little unclear about the conspiracy theorists point. Your complaining people are 'creating' other perspectives other than the obvious about groups events etc? I mean if people didnt question what was put in front of them they'd still be hunting for WMDs in Iraq
I totally understand where your coming from with respect to people's aspirations, but there are 6 billion people on this planet we as individuals are insignificant. Nobody will remember us when we die except our families until they die. Some people value less material, more philosophical and social development. There are a lot of pressures in the world, you have to ask yourself sometimes, will becoming a DR, a footballer, an astronaught, whatever make my life better? Will the money or fame really make me happy? Is intelligence really that important? What is intelligence anyway? Are you born with it? Where do you get it? Is the journey of life more important?
Its a complex dillema this one. If you believe in fate though then it wont matter. I feel a blog posting coming on soon from myself.
Anyways, I enjoyed your blog, your rant, its nice to hear an honest opinion of what someone thinks of the world. I'll stop typing now, I'm probably just rambling about something you might not have considered.
About the conspiracy theories, I'm ranting more about the far-out ones than the actually possible ones. The logical ones I can understand how they're crafted so they're not as bothersome as the others. The NWO theory is by far the most annoying hands down.
6 billion people, all of which are insignificant, yes. However, if that's the mindset that everyone had, we wouldn't be where we are, now would we? If we consider ourselves insignificant because there are over 6 billion others and therefore decide to just enjoy life on our own, we won't really advance as quickly or varying as we could. One day, we will eventually be an extinct species and we should try to enjoy our stay in this life. But if we only think of the short term or the ending, we're limiting our views and possible ideals. We should also think of the future generations and try to make this world as comforting to them as possible. A world without constant war and hatred is a beautiful idea. It's possible as well, but only with cooperation, dedication, and inspiration.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. And thanks, but let's hope I don't need luck.
Yes, but that what I mean about the philosophy, and focusing on improving our relationships etc, ideals morals. You don't need to be a rocket scientist, or whatever or get a fancy job at the highest eschelons of society. You get involved at grassroots level, volunteer in the community, join an activist group, join a charity organisation.
I get what you are saying about if we dont try we cant progress, but we dont have much hope of becoming President, or becoming part of his/her staff, or joining the UN in employment, we can't have much impact on the system as one person. I suppose its dependent on whether you believe in the system we are using. I dont, so I'm cynical
I'm aiming to be a teacher, or social worker or something where I can physically, and literally affect peoples lives. I could join a corporation in PR, or I could retrain and try to be an executive of a transnational corporation, or whatever, and discover better products to enhance someones life a tiny bit, but do we really need Iphones, Ipods, PS3's, 360's, HD tvs? I could be a politician, but then I'm constrained buy corporate lobbying, and and trying to please everyone else.
You might disagree, and I'm sure we could go on forever here , but I like hearing how other people see the world. Its bizarre, you can try and keep an open mind about what is responsible for our improvement as a species or lack of it, but if you dont decide on what you think it is you can't do anything about it.
At this point, I'm sure we've reached some middle ground with our views. What we can do is very limited. However, inspiration doesn't mean affecting many people. To inspire at least one person creates enough of a difference on your part and therefore one has contributed. You don't necessarily have to do something absolutely amazing. Just striving for your dreams is enough. If you can do it, so can anyone else.
And no, we don't need iPhones, iPods, PS3s, 360s ore High Definition television sets. They exist as another way to make money and a way to entertain and with 3/5 of them, connect with other people. So, they're not an ENTIRE waste. :3
You are much better at ranting then I. Too bad I can't express myself very well, otherwise I would put something moving and interesting about how *bleep*ed up the world is. All I can really say is that almost all humans need to die from someone shoving a red hot pole up their ass so that the world can fix itself, if it indeed can.
Don't worry about it. As long as you're content with the decision you made, it's all okay. :3 If you're not, then rectify it. Not much more I can say. Whatever makes you happy. <3
Know what we need to do to churches? Tax the *bleep*ers.
Tinfoilers...I won't get started. I don't want to have two rants on one page.
Yes. Churches need taxes. Pfft. Offerings. I'd gladly put a dildo in there, with a note saying, "Shove this up your ass, kthx."
Oh, please. Do rant about the tinfoilers. Rants are very welcome on this blog post. :3 I encourage it, actually.
I lold a lot. You're jesus, so you should ENJOY people worshiping you though.
My rant;
I don't have one, but lately I've been a bitch to a ton of people. ._.
But. I want people to worship me because it's logical, not because mommy said so. D:
and hopefully you do. :3

That's when I cried.
