If you already use the member shortcut nTag you already know to do this:

Now you can link to any member's profile subpages up to one level deep. Eg their guestbook, activity page, contributions, FAQs, neohome.

code
[[member:Redemption/guestbook]]

and voila: Redemption's guestbook

code
[[member:Artificer/neohome]]

Result: Artificer's neohome

Summer Vacation For Me... I May Work On NAMFox For Internet Explorer.

Yes, Summer vacation for me as I am in the Southern Emisphere of Earth, but that's another topic for another time.

Anyways, a while ago, I created a Blog Post asking who would like to have NAMFox ported to the Internet Explorer browser. Now that I am finally starting my vacations, I may be able to work on it, although, ever since June/July, I haven't done anything related to programming, not even PHP or C#. I was planning on making NAMFox for IE with the latter, so I will need to refresh my skills and re-read some books here and there to brush up my skills.

Now, there are some things I will need:
  • A Name. In the link I posted above people posted some ideas for the name of the software (I was thinking NAMIE, Artificer said NAMExplorer, which sounds good, and Chad said NAMChad, which is a bit of a turn off :P). So you can give me ideas for the name.
  • Alpha/Beta testers. I will follow Artific

Several weeks ago we consolidated the favourites system into one big master system. This capability was actually only possible after we launched the new member profiles this summer - previous to this your favourites were stored all over the place in diff

Dragon Age - Mystery Package Presskit

A few moments ago Wolfwood comes into my office with a package. I wasn't expecting anything, how mysterious! I read who it was from and it didn't add up so I had to open it. I mean c'mon, if you received a mystery package you'd open it up....right?

The package was sealed with a wax stamp, well it was meant to look that way but it looks more like plastic. Very cool aesthetic feeling to it. The seal has a griffin on it.

Opening the package bits of what seemed like sawdust kept falling out..uh oh someone just sent me a package full of anthrax! oh well, I have to see what's inside. What I see still doesn't help me figure out just what the heck this is but I can confirm that it's not anthrax inside.

I open the note first

Will you test your strength
against corruption itself?

Xbox Live

I've been working on a new feature for the 360 community, cleaning up the gamercard page so it's more...well, awesome. For the past few weeks I've been playing around with the page, which, I've had some really positive feedback from the handful of members I've shown it to, and I've come to notice a few things.

Avatars

They're pure awesome. I just keep clicking around on different people because they have the most amusing avatars. Some people I've never even heard of before but just clicking around on avatars is pretty amusing.

However, I do see that a lot of people don't have one yet. I highly suggest you jump on over to your 360 and make one. Albeit, I'm not 100% sure if you need a Gold account or if you can do all of this with just the free Silver account. If someone could confirm this that would be great.

Achievements

There are a LOT of achievements and Neoseeker members have an amazing

"True" Account Merges Available Now

Previously I put all account merges on hold in anticipation of the update ar_cat was working on. This update is now available and is called a "true" Account Merge.

Unlike the previous account merge, MOST of the good stuff from one account can be moved over to the destination account, including, but not limited to:
  • the "oldest" join date
  • guestbook entries
  • actual forum posts
  • contributions/NeoPoints
  • FAQs
  • gallery and fanart submissions
  • your collections (own, want, completed).
  • Private messages**
You can read the full details, including limitations of this new merge, in the Wiki page I created called "Account Merges".

This type of merge is particularly appealing for users who have very rich past accounts and need to merge with another account. Theoretically there is no limit to the number of accounts we can merge together, nor does it matter when you do it (you can initiate a "true merge" o

The Brutal Transition Of Parents; Ancient Technology To Actual Technology.

It's been a while since I last blogged, so here I am, posting about an actual truth that has been approaching the world with no sign, therefore passing by unnoticed.

Technology, children, and parents; past, present, and future.

We currently live in a world with Technology that advances constantly. Adds more stress to our lives, sometimes it is useful, sometimes its advance should be stopped, and sometimes, its advance should be accelerated. Regardless of what is is done, it is time to take extreme measures to what people do with technology, thereby it's time to slap parents a cup of today's technology. As a matter of fact, we are not in the 70's - 80's anymore. Technology won't stop, therefore it is time to do some harsh changes to peoples' lifestyles, specially with technologies that involve communication, such as the internet and mobile cellphones. Those who have kids, and were born in a

Account Merges On Hold
