Bloggie the Little Blog that Could

Delightfully Dangerous Dancing.

That last blog post of mine was a bit melancholy (mostly because I was bemoaning my lack of sleep, a terrible tragedy), so I'll switch things up by being obnoxiously happy in this one.

This Saturday (the 8th) I headed to Zurich for its annual Street Parade. It's a massive techno event that lasts from 1 pm till midnight and takes place in, you guessed it, the streets of Zurich. It was my first time at the event, but I had heard marvelous things about it. Choosing what to wear was torturous since I was told to dress "crazy." What exactly does dressing "crazy" entail? I'd much rather look cute! Therefore, I went with a cute and quirky outfit and dressed up with my Argentinian friend Alejandra. We both had little wings and horns and a normal skirt and shirt(I was decked out in white and Ale got dressed in black).

Holy shit, the party was amazing. We arrived at Zurich's bahnhof (train station

"Christ!" Children Cried.

How is it that in every movie and every book the protagonist always manages to know exactly what to do or say to soothe the mournful and the brokenhearted? The moment is always so poignant, so utterly beautiful and fragile, that it seems like sadness is a beauty all on its own and the reader or watcher feels a pang of empathy as he witnesses the scene. It makes me wonder if those authors and script writers have ever witnessed a young girl break down. Say what you will about relationships but don’t be so heartless as to ignore the fact that the end of them can cause a huge emotional upheaval not many are prepared to face. Now let's make this scene more realistic. Let's say that said break up occurs in, oh, Serbish and that the “mournful and brokenhearted” in this case is actually your nineteen year old friend and that you have the unfortunate luck of walking into the room as the

Belated Blissful Blessings

Let's see if anyone knows what title pattern I have settled on. Well, for the next 24 blog posts anyway.

This blog is just to wish everyone who e-creeps on my blog a very merry Christmas! By e-creeps, I mean someone who reads my blog without dropping by and saying hello. I don't mind if you're an e-creeper. Hell, if I did, I wouldn't be making my blog posts public to one and all. However, if you do happen to be an e-reader (do you prefer that moniker over e-creeper?), then I unfortunately missed you during my Christmas signing spree yesterday.

I'm doing it an injustice by calling it a "signing spree" since I did try my very hardest to write each person a personalized little blurb in addition to the spree message and stamp. It's true that it was easier to write some blurbs than others, but, hey, I tried and ended up spending nearly 5 !@#$ing hours doing so. Some might think that I complet

Assiduous and Appalling Apathy

Yeah, I have a thing for alliteration, especially when writing titles. The title fits my mood at the moment anyway so it works. I've come to the not so shocking realization that I've become more apathetic, especially towards work, as of late. It makes me wonder if it has something to do with the holidays though.

I have a ten page paper that's required to pass my class this semester that's due this Tuesday before I take my final and I can't quite bring myself to begin it. It's not even that hard, just a simple ten pages on the evolution of housing technologies. Seeing as how housing is one of the oldest technologies in human history I have a shitload of stuff to write about. Still, I can't get motivated. This is happening more and more though and I'm beginning to get worried. I find myself writing papers and doing projects the morning they're due. Before I would always do them the day befo

Freely Frolicking Fun

So I met up with Shane yesterday and decided that I'm not quite normal because the encounter simply wasn't awkward enough. Haha, the same thing happened when I hung out with Angela. It seriously felt as if I were just meeting up with an old friend to go hang out and just walk around the city. Granted, I have known Shane for two years, but I still feel like I'm breaking the meeting online friends code simply because it felt all too natural.

Yesterday was crazy fun though. I met up with Shane at his hotel around 2 p.m. and we pretty much walked around the city for 4 hours. Then I invited him to dinner at la Plataforma Churrascaria, one of my favorite rodizios (yum). Sorry for lying about the check, Shane, but I wasn't about to let you pay for half the bill when I was the one who invited you out to dinner. We then went to go watch Spamalot and had an absolute blast. I also had the opportuni

Dear Mister Bloggie Sir

Don't tell anyone but you-know-who told me he liked me today! Well, he didn't say it directly, but I know that's what he meant when he complimented my shoes today. Suzzie Q thinks I'm lying, but I think she's just jealous of my awesome My Little Pony lunchbox that my mommy bought for me. I think that's why she didn't share her chocolate milk with me. Suzzie Q always shares her chocolate milk with me, Bloggie! Some times when she's not in school because she's sick, I'll have to sit with Jason and he never shares anything! That's not very nice at all because I always share my sugar cookies. Next time Suzzie Q is out I think I'll sit outside so I won't have to sit next to stinking Jason! He's not like him at all.

I think we're going to get married one day, Bloggie. Not that he knows it...yet. He's still busy giving flowers to Jenny. Ugh, Jenny. Just because her hair is the color of the sun

¡Ahora vamos a escribir el titulo en Español!

Haha, I just discovered that we don't have to use HTML or CSS for our actual posts and just need to use Markup. Wow, I'm a genius. I spent about five minutes checking my HTML and wondering why the damn font wouldn't change. I'd blame it on the lack of sleep but that would be a complete lie since I slept until 10 am today. So much for the whole "Let's wake up at 7 and go shopping" deal. On the bright side, I did buy some nice shoes at a super duper discount! They're going to be killer on my little feet, but, hey, they sure look nice. Here's to hoping the heel won't accidentally get trapped in the drains on the sidewalk. How embarrassing could that be? Imagine just being stuck on the sidewalk attempting to pull your shoe out without being too conspicuous.

Speaking of purchases, I am so screwed for Christmas this year. I'm absolutely broke at the moment. Well, no, that's not quite true sinc

Titles are Difficult

Which is why I won't even bother to spend time thinking of a creative, eye-catching one.

Phil (VulcanRaven) mentioned this to me a little while ago, so I thought I'd check it out. I'm one of those losers who love to learn about other people, so this is absolutely fascinating to me, even if I have never heard or "talked" to most of the members blogging here. I suppose I'll introduce myself though I doubt that too many people will ever read this.

I'm known as Harvest Moon girl on Neoseeker and have been a member since February 29, 2004. There's really not much to say about my Neo history other than I made quite a bit of friends on the site that I truly enjoy talking with. I don't have any epic stories of my modding skills since I never was one, but that's quite alright since I'd make a terrible mod. You would probably see me editing everyone's grammar and spelling, haha. Since there's not mu
