So at the moment I'm sitting in my bedroom on my laptop, waiting to get the lift back to my flat at university. At the moment, everything is good - and, in true blog style - I thought it was about time that I told the internet about it!

So, exactly one month ago today I got my A-Level results! Unfortunately, I didn't get what I wanted, but fear not because I did manage to get into university to study English Literature! So far the course is going great! I'm having a brilliant time at university, getting drunk every other night, staying up late, cooking my own meals, paying my own bills and all the usual malarchy that comes with responsability. Life is looking good for me at the moment!

The other day I managed to get my gym membership sorted out, so I can now get back into my training routine that I had to abandon so many months ago thanks to schoolwork. Now I have a more flexible timetable

So, I was sitting on my chair just jamming away on my guitar when it suddenly hit me that I've never attempted to play "Wonderful tonight" by Eric Clapton.

So, my 5-minute-long quest was set - I had to learn the song.

The thing I love most about this song is that it's incredibly easy to play, yet sounds so damn good. If I were playing that in public now, I'd be amazing. Such a great song. I almost feel professional now that I can play it.

However, now that I've finished learning the song after about 10 minutes, I'm stuck with nothing to do. I could aways go back onto RuneScape for a bit and kill some time, I could go onto my Xbox360 and get my ass kicked on Dead or Alive 4, I could watch a movie or I could go back to playing my guitar. Oh, the choices.

Anyway, if I can think of anything else to write later I will.

So, today has been a day of many successes. Unlike most monotonous days, today has been one which has stood out and actually made me genuinly smile. It started off when my English Literature teacher shows me my paper with an A grade on it; pretty spectacular for me, considering I've been predicted an E-F for almost two years. Following this achievement, I managed to write my software successfully in ICT, before my teacher could find the solution, thus earning me merit -and all of this before dinnertime.

Dinnertime comes and what do I get? A tray of this pasta shit with some sauce. Was pretty nice, but I thought it was a pretty lame deal considering I get more food at my other school (Our school has a joint-partnership with another sixth form, I'm educated at two places). But wait...! I get free cookies, grapes and milk at this school. Score.
