I just saw nintendo's E3... ouch. Okay, I'll admit, some of them looked good, but a few stood out for me, and I'll use this blog post to rant about them.

The first is New Super Mario Bros Wii. The first thing wrong abou- A WIIMAKE?! Seriously, NSMB did not need a remake. OH, but it's okay, 4 player action! Who consist of players 3 and 4 you say? Toad and a pallet swap of toad. Yeah...

Secondly, Wii Sports resort. My only problem is that Wii Sports' purpose was to get you used to the motion controls, not to be a normal game. You could say that is a matter of opinion, but then you'd be wrong.

Moving along, Mario Galaxy 2. WTF

Lastly, We see the launch of a branch-thing that makes more mature games. "Right up my alley, let's see what's in store" I think as I sit at my computer screen. What better way to crush my hopes and whisk away any chance of the E3 being saved than to announce "Metroid: Other M". What does the M stand for? MOTHER. *bleep*ING. BULLSHIT. Honestly Nintendo, you can dress up the series as much as you want, it's a kid franchise, and it will stay that way. Same with Twilight Princess, it's darker, still a kid franchise. Oh, and it's being made with Team ninja, the same people who made the Dead or Alive series. That just oozes in WTFery right there.

Well, that's my opinion on the games of E3 2009. See ya later shitendo, can't wait to play some of the kickass games Microsoft announced.
