Mmhmm...

Hey guys. Just doing a short entry in the hope that this will make a little icon appear under my name so people actually know I have a blog.

So today was my first day of work experience. I really, really enjoyed it. I'm working in the Press and Public Relations Office at my local hospital. The people who I am working with are really cool and I had a great first day. It was a kinda one-off day; one of the office guys I'm working with, a photographer and I had to go around and take pictures for the staff magazine. The three of us had a good time exchanging stories about what we had got up to recently and everything went well. I was also in a picture that will find its way into the magazine, so yay me. =D

Mmhmm, time for a blog? I think so.

So, yeah, let's just be like a dead fish and go with the flow.

I'll just start with some musings and thoughts about my weekend. The first ting that comes to mind was that I watched the film Taken starring Liam Neeson. Quite a good film really; ex-CIA guy's daughter gets kidnapped whilst on vacation with a friend, the dad goes batshit insane and leaves a trail of destruction and mayhem a mile long whilst trying to locate her. Anyway, I'm not going to say much more because I'll give away too much of the story, but the film was probably one of the best I've seen in a while, with a good cast, good storyline, good acting and a good script. The only qualm I have with the film is it's kinda unrealistic in the sense of what happens; there's waaay too many coincidences. But hey, that's films for you.
