My new laptop!

Well, after about a week of waiting my new (and first ever) laptop arrived. I opened it up and began looking at it.

Here is the box of it, out of the box it was shipped in.

Here is the laptop sitting on the box it was shipped in.

I initially just took the laptop out, as well as the manual. I opened up the laptop and pressed the power button multiple times, unsuccessfully turning it on. I looked on the bottom and realized the battery wasn't there. After further inspection of the box, there is a little slot where the cords and battery was that I hadn't noticed. I popped the battery in and started it up.

Along the way of installing anti-virus programs, etc., my dog came in with an interest of what I was doing. I put her up on my bed for her to inspect it, and she decided to guard it in-case anyone came near.

Darn, it is only letting me put one pic in. I linked to a couple of others, and more are in my gallery.

You have to link to additional ones manually, use this code:

Also, a lot of laptop batteries die within a year or two anyway so don't worry too much about the short battery life.

I was using that, and they didn't show up anywhere but the preview. Same with the bulleting mark-up I used for the list of features. I went back and changed the images that weren't showing to links, and just left the bullet mark-up not showing.

That is a pretty sweet deal indeed. Im STILL paying off my laptop from four years ago..probably 1/4 as powerful and 4x as much. Computers have gotten so cheap.

I need a new laptop, or a new screen for my laptop, as it still runs great.

Sweet, with the exception of a few varying details, this is essentially the same laptop I got for my girlfriend two days ago. It's great value!
