[LKS@Neo] The Job Classes of Alpoko - Beginner's Edition

LKS@Neo is back with another entry ready and set to give you more information about XSEED Games' Little King's Story for the Nintendo Wii. This go-around we'll be going over some of the job classes you'll first encounter in your first days as the soverign of the Kingdom of Alpoko.

At first, your kingdom is solely populated by the hapless Carefree Adult. They're pretty lazy, and they would rather be lounging around than actually working. Catch them on a good day, and you can even see them taking a nap around town. Their skillset pretty much limits them to digging with their barehands; being so useless that they don't carry tools, they can't do much else.

What's a king to do with such useless subjects? Force them into employment, that's what.

One of the first jobs you can make your Carefree Adults into is the Hardworking Farmer. But before you can force your adults into field labor for free, you're going to need to build a Farmhouse in your kingdom first.

The Hardworking Farmer's main speciality is Excavation. They dig holes at triple speed, and are the only ones who can dig into small cracks. Once these small cracks are made larger by farmers, then other jobs can get in on the digging action. If they're the ones digging, they'll find better treasures in the ground than say a Carefree Adult, but the Farmers are the only ones who can uncover health-restoring hot springs.

The other thing you can do in your small kingdom is to force your citizens into military service. By sending Carefree Adults into a Guard Hut, you can turn them into Grunt Soldiers at no cost.

The Grunt Soldier has no real speciality, but they can fight pretty well. They take the fight to heart, even to the point of clinging onto their enemies to take them down. Unfortunately, they're as dumb as a rock, so they can't do much else. I guess that's what it means to be a grunt.

This is only a small sampling of the jobs that the game has to offer, because you can't take over the world with only farmers and soldiers.
