Huh, Neo blogs. One of the last things i though Redemption would add. But it seems i was wrong. I seem to be wrong about a whole lot of things these days, though it rarely shows in IE. I left the Pokemon diamond forums today. I thought it was time to move on to bigger and better thing like loungin and IE and maybe a few PS3 forums. I pretty much insulted all the people that i ever came into contact with in the Myst clan, and Now they all hate me, which i didn't think much of anyway. But now I'm sorta regretting i did it today. For reasons which i will explain.
I really should look before i leap with these situations. After a few hours in loungin' and the inevitable sneaky loungin ammonia leaked into my brain, and as a result; a whole page and a half on why Australian are so much better than everyone else with walnuts and a PPD probation period.
Which leaves me with quite a limited space for posting in a active place.
And so here i am in all my Bored goodness.

So today I went digging through my Favorites on Youtube. While digging, I found this video.

So, this is a MadTV parody. Though after watching it for the first time in few years, first time being when I was 8, I actually payed attention to the music and exactly what the instruments were playing.

So around 3:16, a person in a bear suit that's supposed to be Bjork comes onto the stage and starts singing a Bjorked version of I Will Always Love You. That's when it occured to me. Terrible vocals aside, the song is actually quite good.

This isn't supposed to happen. I'm don't want to like a song that isn't supposed to be serious in the first place. Why? Because I won't be able to properly listen to it without the 'Whoo Lord how high am I!' from Whitney Debra.

So you can probably tell, this is just another post in which I will tell you of something that either disappoints me, or makes me angry. And I've done that.

So you can go now.

It's day 5 without my PS3, and I am jonesin' somethin' FIERCE!!!! It's kinda funny actually, the first half of '08 all I bitched about was how much dust my PS3 was collecting because there weren't any decent games to play. Then BAM!! out of nowhere comes title after title of pretty hot hits. I nearly tripled my game collection in 6 short months and still have quite a few games to hop on.

Now I'm sitting here trying to take back all of the bad things I said, and just wish my PS3 would work again. Maybe it's slightly pathetic on my part to be so damn attached to the stupid thing, but man it really was my main source of entertainment. We don't have cable, and the kids dominate the television with their damn cartoons and shit....the PS3 was mine.....ALL mine!!!!!

Then there was this little game I picked up during Christmas vacation known as Fallout 3. I was instantly hooked. I'm still not fully sure why it drew me in so deep, but it did. Deep enough to want to write some fan fiction on my character's antics. At least I was toying around with the idea the day my PS3 shit the bed. Oh well, back to the trusty ol' DS I suppose.

And that's where I'm at this evening. Final Fantasy IV. The bane of my existence!! Don't get me wrong, the game is actually excellent and should be played by every FF fan. But I am so damn SICK of having to level grind before any event in this frickin' game!!!! I am nearly 45 hours into the game, and probably have spent 30 of it level grinding. That kinda pisses me off.

Now I'm all about getting the biggest bang for my buck as most know......but I would like sure as hell would like to have fun doing so!!!! Right now I am currently level grinding to 75 to face the final boss. Square was great at making you go an hour or more through a dungeon without the option of saving your game just to spank your ass raw in the final battle and make you start over. Sorry, I'm not into self abuse unless it's *bleep* O_o

In other news my ex had her son this last week. Unfortunately he has come down with a bit of Jaundice....not too uncommon for newborns, even the girls had it. Needless to say I will need to stay home Friday and watch the girls. That will give me a great opportunity to go ahead and start on God of War II. Yeah I know, I'm a bastard.....better late then never I always say. Since my step-son has been here with us all week I haven't been able to hook it up just yet. I'm usually against taking time off from work, but when kids are concerned I can't really say No.

Other than all of that, for some reason I feel like '09 is a year I need to give back more. To my family, friends, neoseeker, etc. Last year I wrote nearly 20 reviews in my private blogs on Myspace and Gametrailers and they were read by maybe 5 people in passing. So I decided to start contributing more to the Neoseeker community and posted my first official review Tuesday on the PS3 version of Penny Arcade Episode 1. Check it out if you can, any feedback is greatly appreciated.....even constructive criticism.

I also hope to write a monthly family newsletter, some fan fiction, and of course plenty of reviews. Stay tuned gamers, friends, and family....I have a lot in store for you this year!!

Catchy title? I think so. I got to thinking of that title earlier today when playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, for the XBox 360. I was riding my horse and jumping over stuff cause I was bored, and before jumping around on my horse I was pickpocketing people for their loot, but you know people in Oblivion, never having enough gold until after you kill them. Ah well, its only a game, so what are you to do? I guess I'll put in a bit of a new story im thinking of writing. And guess what-- It's based on my Oblivion character! Haha. You won't see these bits of the story alot, but when i want to put them in, they are gonna be in, and you can either read them or not, it's completley up to you :P

Yet another day goes by as the sun rises and then sets hours later as I remain here, stuck in this prison staring out of the empty space as it is for now the only source of light that I have, besides those toches the gaurds carry as they walk to and fro, past my cell as they are on their patrol. I grow more and more dizzy as the days go by, my lack of water is killing me, even though the argonian race has evovled to the point where we don't need water to survive, we still have our flaws. My vision blurs as I see the last glimpse of sunlight as it passes out of view of my little 'window' and night fall finally arises. And now I shall sleep, until awoken...or not.

I awake...but am I lucky, or foolish? That noise...its people whispering, and the noise of their voices is getting louder! Someone is comming by, but these voices are different that what I've heard before, the gaurds never speak down here unless it is to yell as the prisoners...and here they are. Two oddly armoured gaurds and...Ah! The emporer!

"Hey! why is this cell occupied? Ah, never mind that...Prisoner, stand by the window and don't move, or I will be forced to slay you where you move to."

The gaurds mess around with one of the walls until the gaurd who did not speak to me yet presses in one of the stones, and a secret passageway emerges, and the gaurds guide the emporer down through the tunnel, while a gaurd yells back to me.

"Today is your lucky day, prisoner. Today, you are free if you follow this path, but follow our movements and you shall die on your faithful day!" But really, only one thought came to mind--I can get water if I follow this tunnel.

Things surely didn't turn out as I expected. My family is still a bit shaky, but my mother and sister are talking again, and that's enough for me. Rebirth. Nothing more. I'm glad to be back, and I hope nothing else happens in my life that will force me to leave again. The only thing I can do, should something like that happen, is to repeat the past, and hope the entirety is repeated as well.

Well, I decided to make my first blog post. I finally got my hands on Dead Space after seeing and convincing myself on buying the game. So I just started; just wanted to get that out of the way. I sort of don't find the game that scary, it just keeps me on the edge. The whole theme is beautifully crafted adding to the 'horror'. I might be updating my adventures in the game from time to time so...yeah.

I might be updating the blog now and again, but less constantly starting from January 20th since my second semester classes begin that day and so does swimming practice. So see you when I see you...next time.

I don't know but technology must hate me, everything I come in contact with breaks. First off I bought a DS lite in July 07, since then I've gone through 6 of them. Within 4 months of them something goes on them, either the triggers or screen. Next we got my Xbox 360 which RRoD within three months of getting it, sending it in get it back, then RRoD two weeks ago. My friend's 360 RRoD a month and a half ago just when me and him are going to play Mortal Kombat VS DC. My ipod has been acting up for a while. And the kicker my laptop died last night and I lost a shit load of music, luckily I have my favorite stuff backed up. Now I have to buy a new one tonight...I hate it every piece of technology I purchase or co-purchase is faulty.

Hopefully this laptop is good and doesn't die on me.

Last week we showed what we can do when we're at our best, last night we showed some of our worst. We seem to have a Jekyll and Hyde syndrome, one fantastic match followed by one utterly dire one. Unfortunately due to the icey weather it meant our bad performance came against the same team we played so well against before. In a way I suppose it's a good thing, if the game last Tuesday hadn't been called off we would probably have ended up playing so poorly against our main league rivals instead of in a cup we have no chance of actually winning.

Once again Posh also proved they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Just like against MK Dons last year, people couldn't get into the match on time, last time they ended up walking round the side of the pitch while the game was being played. This time even though the game was delayed by 15 minutes, almost 1,000 people failed to get into the ground until 8.30, half an hour after kick off. If we want to be a big club then we have to get our big event organisation sorted or we'll just be laughed at. If we are promoted to the Championship next year then every game could have a crowd this big, I imagine the officials at Posh are shitting themselves at the prospect.

West Brom played just 3 days before this match, in a local derby which are usually intense and should have taken a lot out of the players. We hadn't played in 10 days and therefore should have been in top condition for this match. It didn't show. We looked tired straight away whereas WBA were running rings round us. We struggled to string two passes together and if it wasn't for having two international centre backs we could have been a lot worse off at half time.

It could have been so much different if we'd taken our best chance of the game in the first 10 minutes. Charlie Lee was through on the goalie and only had to place it past him to put us in front. Instead he attempted a fancy lob which while only a few inches wide of the post, certainly wasn't the best choice in the situation. For the first goal we gave Jay Simpson far too much time on the ball so he could just pick his spot in the goal. It was a good goal but it was made easier by some poor defending. For the second we cleared the ball out from the corner but didn't close down their players on the edge of the box. When you give the opposition a free cross into the box they are bound to score from it.

By half time we knew we would lose but at least we were able to entertain ourselves for a half by mercilessly taunting Scott Carson. Everytime he got the ball we were anticipating some almighty cockup and we almost got it. Two or free miskicked clearances gave us some hope. Then when it got quiet we started with some rounds of "You let your country down" and with every mistake, "Thats why you're going down" and then to finish off some "We'll be playing you next year". Petty but amusing.

Now we move onto a tough period of fixtures. We have fixtures on the next three Tuesdays with the likelihood of a fourth due to the rearranged Tranmere fixture. This basically means 8 games in the next four weeks. This includes a home match with second places rivals Franchise FC and an away trip to Leeds United with the biggest ground in the league, Elland Road. Last year we went on a fantastic run which took us from just outside the playoffs to second place at this time of year so hopefully we can get some momentum going and do the same this year.

Khold is pronounced the same as cold. Knowing this, the title becomes a three-way pun.

As anyone who has actually taken the time to read my profile interests will know, I enjoy Lets Plays (LPs). Not just watching them, but also making them. One of my favourite LPers, is someone called TheKholdOne. Most people know Khold for his Pokemon FireRed LP, but I know him because of his Super Mario World ROMHack; Super Khold World. I found out about SKW via another one of my favourite LPers (my 3rd favourite with ease); Tatsudoshi.

I mention this, because I feel somewhat sad to have found out mere minutes ago that Khold's computer got inflicted with a virus approx. one week ago, and thus he has lost everything he had ever done and ever had. Considering he is one of the people who inspried me to start LPing in the first place (Tatsudoshi is clearly another. KZX517 is my favourite LPer by a long shot and is - to me - a massive inspiration), you can imagine how much of a :( this is.

Anyway, enough sentimental-ish crap. On with the other stuff now!

I have gotten bored of SSPCs for the time being. Considering that I've been grinding on and off for 4 days on Pokemon Ruby to only discover that I still get my ass handed to me by Brawly (fuggin' Snorunt has to be crap D:) has become an annoyance and so I've decided to stop with the Pogeymanz challenges for the time being. Instead, I've decided to do a walkthrough for a game that's somewhat based on one of my favourite animes/mangas of all time: Dragonball Advanced Adventure. (The great thing about Neo's blogs, is that aside from not being crap, I can use them for LP updates and stuff. Tis awesome.)

These two things are more related than you'd actually expect, because before acquiring said virus Khold was LPing this very game. I hadn't actually noticed, because I am YT subscribed to about 90 people (most of which are LPers) so it's hard for me to keep track of the updates of certain people.

Well, after much late night deliberation, I've done some soul searching and have decided to try my luck at novel writing. Purely for fun, of course.

Basically the most info I can give related to the novel is that it will be based around a Zombie Survival theme.

Any and all help contributing towards the novel will be much appreciated. Please give comments or PMs or help or support in any way you can and it will be much appreciated!

Also, sometime in the future, I may be enquiring about work for graphic designs or art based on the novel. If anyone is offering to help, it would be very much appreciated.

I am hoping that I can get some support with this, and hope that I have not wasted anyone's time.

What's hippity happening?

I just found my old copy of Midnight Club: LA Remix for PSP and decided to start playing all over again. That is aside from the fact that my original save, almost at 50% completion and with my beautiful Camaro Concept was corrupted. Never mind, I'll have more fun making this file even better.

I decided to get re-acquainted with the music of the game, and like the selection of West-Coast Rap and Hip-Hop, making it my goal to at least manage some of the songs. Through my day of exploring, I'm still looking for 4 of them.

"Future Shock"
(John Acquaviva Edit)
By Kid DUB

"Let Yourself Go"
By Evidence

"Too Cool 4 Skool"
(Jonny Lexxs Remix)
By John Acquaviva & Oliver Giacomotto

"Hero"
By NaS
Ft. Keri Hilson

They're surprisingly annoying to look for, but never the less, I will persist.
My current song addiction is the main theme, "Dundy Lion", by Markus Kienzl, hence the title, as it what I believe part of the song sounds like, with the whoop sounding more like an engine rev.
I'll leave the song here, for you to enjoy.

On the lighter side of things, my brother, Machienzo, has managed to create a GLaDOS voice operating system, using a AT&T provided computer voice, then editing it with an "unknown" sound editing program. It's *bleep*ing amazing and speaks pretty damn well (A sample can be viewed via his non-neoseeker blog, via his profile signature). I'm thinking of using it to create some custom sounds for my laptop, which will be extremely cool. Anyway, thanks for reading bloggers. If I can get a few comments, I'll load up the sounds I gather and will allow people to download them. I'll also post up a guide for changing interface sounds to make this easy theme, upon request. Mind you, it is VISTA only.
Enjoy yourselves.
